Aftermarket Field Sales Force Announcements

Bill Perlmutter Farmington Hills, Mich. — January 2, 2019 — Akebono Brake Corporation today announced several organizational changes to the aftermarket field sales team.

Mike Spain has been promoted to the position of Eastern Region Sales Manager.  Bill Perlmutter, our newest member of the team, shown in photo, has been added to fill the Eastern District Sales Manager position that Mike has held for the last 5 years. Bill comes to Akebono from the Hengst Filter’s aftermarket division.  Bill is a veteran in the industry and has extensive experience in the Eastern Region.

Additionally, Brian Horvath has been appointed to the newly created role of, National Group Sales Manager. His focus will be to work directly with the National Buying Groups to increase our partnership with their members.

“These changes are a result of our continued growth and increased dedication to our direct customers and trading partners” said Russ Stebbins, Director of Americas, Akebono Aftermarket Business Unit. “It was important for us as a team to finalize these positions before the end of 2018. We have many opportunities in 2019 and these changes and additions will strengthen the Aftermarket team for the growth that we are targeting this year and in the future”.
